Volgens Peter Wohlleben hebben bomen verbinding met elkaar via ondergronds netwerk van wortels en paddenstoelen, dat doet denken aan menselijke interacties.

Hoe zit het met de relaties tussen bomen die met elkaar verbinding aan het maken zijn?
Wat voor interactie ontstaat er?
Via hun ondergronds netwerk worden voedingsstoffen uitgewisseld, dat zou ik kunnen zien als nonverbale communicatie!

Maar hoe gaat dit, als het gaat om verschillende boomsoorten die elk op verschillende soorten grond staan?
De ‘informatie’ die dan wordt uitgewisseld, is dan heel verschillend.
Is er dan ook sprake van een ‘vertaalslag’ ?

Als ik deze beeldspraak weer terugvertaal naar menselijke interactie, dan ervaar ik intersectionaliteit als een uitdaging om een ‘vertaalslag’ te maken.
