The qabbalistic tree imagery influences the intrepretation of this card.

compare this with the 10 diamonds in standard (French style) playing cards:
There are no distracting occult symbols in the standard playing cards…now I take up the challenge to see this card with a fresh outlook…it feels like refurbishing an empty room with my own stuff.
Considering the pips are numbered 1-10, the highest number is 10…this is an ending/completion of a cycle.
Diamonds were originally coins, money.
My intrepretation would be: a maximum amount of money/finances.
On the positive side: a treasure, jackpot.
On the negative side: extreme wealth will attract thieves and other predators.
Comparing the intrepretation of this playing card with the Oracle card 31-Celebration:
The inheritance of knowledge, skills, finances, all those things that were passed down by the ancestors should be applied in a sensible way.
Finding a balance between hoarding and over-indulging, between keeping the secret knowledge and throwing pearls to swine, between rote repeating the past methods and disregarding everything.

First new moon 2021 january, confronting the difficult beginning of this year:
still in lockdown, facing the siege of the capitol, a world going mad!
I have committed myself to working with the Grim Reaper for a month, proceeding carefully…her presence has been haunting me since my childhood when my grandfather died.
After reading the Masque of the Red Death, I became confinced that Death was a Lady wearing a red dress.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered Santa Muerte in Red!
Where to begin? There are several groups and documents online and offline, but for now I will start with the visual meditations.

I will start with the last card: Santa Muerte
the oracle says:
“…this card invite us to accept any change, transformation or drastic severing of perspective with a smile”…”make a firm decision on what to cut and what to change in your life”
My response: OUCH! this is a real challenge, to cope wtih the current pandemic and political upheaval in the world!

As visible in previous article, on the vertical axis external-internal influences, the querent is subject to external influences (the cards above the significator), and has no internal influence at all (no cards below the significator): it seems that the querent experiences forces that are out of his control.
Let’s look more into the horizontal axis past-present
Past (left side of the significator): 2♦-6♣-6♥-10♠-Q♣:
A new situation develops at work and in private, Santa Muerte enters the field.
Future (right side of the significator): A♠-K♣-5♣-2♣-A♦-7♠-6♠
The scythe signals the time of harvesting, much work for small profit, many worries, a path of thorns.
2♠ is a fitting summary of this reading: a duel, a rift, a breaking with the past.
Ping: Grand Tableau yule 2020 – Dreamquest
For this grand tableau I use the card meanings of hedgewitchery cartomancy and the Coven of Cards combined with some methods of the new world witchery guide to cartomancy
I put the Joker as my significator in the complete deck and played the tableau in 4×13, leaving the last card out as a overall oracle for this spread.
To keep the first reading simple, I will focus on the significator and the nearest cards, later on I will expand on other significant cards.
First impression, Significator 00 is nearby the middle of the bottom row where A♠ stands at the center.
The significator is surrounded by challenging black cards!
The oracle is overall summarised by the last card 2♠, crossing swords, a duel!
A♣-Q♠-9♣: Beginning to work with the Dark Lady will change my way of Working.
Q♣-00-A♠: The Reaping Wife gives the querent the blade to work with.
Looking at the vertical influences on the Significator:
8♠-4♠-1♠-00-2♠: Challenging meditations during lockdown will connect the Dark Lady with the Querent, who will have to confront the Guardian on the threshold.

Met mijn speer in de hand vroeg ik Beer
Wat te doen?
Aan het einde van de nacht kwam een beeld: stilstaand water!
Later moest ik denken aan Yemaya Assesu, me afvragend of het beeld van stilstaand water bij Haar past.
“In the Americas, the title “Yemaya Assesu” is Yemaya of the Brackish Water, the estuaries, the places where salt and sweet water mix. “
Nee, kennelijk past stilstaand water niet bij deze Godin!
Ha! Weer meer helderheid in de vertroebeling!
We hadden gezamenlijke workshop Seidh met een andere groep Asatruar
We oefenden met het plaatsen van een beschermende doorzichtige cirkel om ons heen, hierbij moesten we een een specifieke beweging met het hoofd maken (alsof je lange haren achterover wil slaan met hoofdbeweging).
Tijdens het ritueel kon ik nauwelijks wakker blijven, ik was vermoeid van de activiteit van afgelopen dag stappen.
Verder aarzelde ik om mijn volle kracht in te zetten in het ritueel, die energie wilde ik bewaren voor noodsituaties.
Aan het einde van het ritueel hieven we de cirkel op, en lieten we de uitgenodigde Spirit weer afscheid nemen.
Toen we een tweede ronde oefeningen deden, was de energie onrustig en versnipperd, omdat er ook mensen bezig waren met weggaan…
Nu was voor mij het moment om alsnog mijn energie in te zetten om door middel van zang de cirkel bij elkaar te houden.
Bij het napraten gaf onze workshopleider aan, dat iemand anders van ons minder goed mee kon doen wegens depressies.
Onze workshopleider merkte op dat wij minder bedreven waren dan de andere groep.
De andere gaf aan, dat zijn groep een goede zanger had, die met zijn zang vanuit het hart de energie er in wist te brengen terwijl de rest van zijn groep alleen maar de vorm imiteerde.
Realisaties tijdens halfslaap: met dit type heftig energiewerk ligt de lat wel hoog, ik kan me voorstellen dat dit mensen afschrikt.
Vandaag weer de eerste bijeenkomst Seidh in het nieuwe jaar.

het beeld dat bij mij naar boven komt is de Vrouwe die in haar linkerhand diverse strengen draden in verschillende kleuren van haar voorganger Urth ontvangt, vervolgens ontstaan er nieuwe combinaties van draden tussen haar handen.
Sommige draden gaan zelfstandig verder, andere mengen zich met andere draden tot veelkleurige weefsels.
Uiteindelijk gaan alle combinaties weer verder via haar rechterhand naar de volgende Zuster Skuld….
Met hulp van de Vrouwe het orakel geraadpleegd, wat moet ik met de
Nieuwjaarsboodschap 2020 Asagrim?
Is het een persoonlijke boodschap met betrekking tot mijn eigen situatie, of is het een boodschap voor het grotere geheel?
Bij de duiding van het orakel blijkt, dat deze boodschap betrekking heeft op het grotere geheel, iets waar ik weinig invloed op kan hebben, maar waarvoor ik wel hulp mag aanroepen bij Asagrim.
Vandaag is chinees nieuwjaar van de gouden rat…
De astrologen zeggen:
“These types of people are positive, thrifty, diligent, and industrious. When they are out and about, they like to find a bargain and are innovative.
They attract many people to them because they are a good friend to other people. They will have a lot of luck in their futures because they will use their keen imaginations to create great success for themselves.”
…
Dat is dan weer heel anders dan de reputatie van Rat in het Westen, dan wordt de associatie gelegd met de Zwarte Dood.
In het licht van het Corona Virus moet ik ook hier aan denken, vooral in combinatie met de boodschap van Asagrim krijg ik de associatie van de Apocalyps!
In deze donkere tijden is het goed om te weten dat ik gesteund wordt vanuit de andere werkelijkheid, en dat ik ook in de alledaagse werkelijkheid steun ervaar van mensen om me heen!
