What is a Sigil?
A sigil is a symbol—drawn, carved, painted, or sewn—that holds intention and meaning for its creator. Rather than having inherent “magickal” properties, the power of a sigil lies in the entire process of its creation and application. This process involves visualizing a desire or concept, embodying it in a symbol, and focusing one’s intention to inspire and reinforce personal growth or change.
Sigils invite us to reflect on what we value and to consider how we can bring meaningful change to our lives. By setting intentions through these symbols, we might foster shifts in perspective, discover fresh sources of inspiration, or even notice small changes in our outlook or habits. These subtle shifts often create a sense of cumulative transformation, shaping our lives like a mosaic that gradually forms as each piece finds its place.
Sigils, then, are not about dramatic or supernatural outcomes, but about conscious, intentional change—a creative, reflective tool that helps us align our inner world with the life we wish to cultivate.

What is a Sigil?
Sigils are symbols (drawn, carved, painted, sewn, etc) believed to have magickal properties. The magick of a sigil is not in any one aspect of it, but the entire process, from concept to application and beyond. The visual image; the method of physical application or metaphysical interaction; and most importantly, the thoughts upon which the symbol is created help unlock and empower the sigil’s magick.
Sigils help us consider what we treasure, how we can manifest change in our personal worlds, and in turn affect the macrocosm. The magick within the sigil may inspire little shifts of position, new inspirations, cracks of light filtering through: nothing too dramatic on the personal level, but still change that you can stand back and see as the mosaic comes together.
