Charge of the Dark Goddess

Charge of the Dark Goddess

quote:
Wisdom and empowerment are the gifts of the Dark Goddess of Transformation. She is known to us as Kali, Hecate, Cerridwen, Lilith, Persephone, Fata, Morgana, Ereshkigal, Arianhrod, Durga, Inanna, Tiamat, and by a million, million other names: Hear me child, and know Me for who I am. I have been with you since you were born, and I will stay with you until you return to Me at the final dusk. I am the passionate and seductive lover who inspires the poet to dream. I am the One who calls to you at the end of your journey. After the day is done, My children find their blessed rest in my embrace. I am the womb from which all things are born. I am the shadowy, still tomb; all things must come to Me and bare their breasts to die and be reborn to the Whole. I am the Sorceress that will not be ruled, the Weaver of Time, the Teacher of Mysteries. I snip the threads that bring my children home to me. I slit the throats of the cruel and drink the blood of the heartless. Swallow your fear and come to me, and you will discover true beauty, strength, and courage. I am the fury which rips the flesh from injustice. I am the glowing forge that transforms your inner demons into tools of power. Open yourself to my embrace and overcome. I am the glinting sword that protects you from harm. I am the crucible in which all the aspects of yourself merge together in a rainbow of union. I am the velvet depths of the night sky, the swirling mists of midnight, shrouded in mystery. I am the chrysalis in which you will face that which terrifies you and from which you will blossom forth, vibrant and renewed. Seek me at the crossroads, and you shall be transformed, for once you look upon my face, there is no return. I am the fire that kisses the shackles away. I am the cauldron in which all opposites grow to know each other in Truth. I am the web which connects all things. I am the Healer of all wounds, the Warrior who rights all wrongs in their Time. I make the weak strong. I make the arrogant humble. I raise up the oppressed and empower the disenfranchised. I am Justice tempered with Mercy. Most importantly, child, I am you. I am part of you, and I am within you. Seek me within and without, and you will be strong. Know me. Venture into the dark so that you may awaken to Balance, Illumination, and Wholeness. Take my Love with you everywhere and find the Power within to be who you wish.

Wat is Droomtijd?

Wat is Droomtijd?

quote:
In Australian Aborigine religion the Dreamtime, also called The Dreaming, consists of four aspects: The beginning of all things; the life and influence of the ancestors; the way of life and death; and sources of power in life.

Dreamtime consists of all four of these aspects at the same time because it is a condition beyond time and space where all things exist at the same time.

Dedication to Hekate

Dedication to Hekate

Pre-Christian, pre-Olympian, pre-Titanic Hekate
World-Tree planted in Asia Minor,
gate-guard of the worlds,
keyholder to the 3 realms,
gross seated Mother, lions at your sides,
fostering nurse of all that’s young,
female heap of big fat attributes,
ruling through pre-rational ages
in cruelties of agricultural worship,
slain corn-kings, child sacrifice,
castrated temple-males.

You glid into Greece after Troy’s fall,
Hekate-Enodia riding down from Thessaly,
leading the angry horde of ghosts,
planted yourself at the crossroads;
your torch began to smoke then flared up,
making night noon –
World-Tree Hekate, your roots reached Hell’s
downmost altitude to suck the power
of the buried dead. Eater of Filth
Goddess of darkness, grimly silently
munching corpses, Hekate,
regaled with incense of goat-fat, baboon-shit,
garlic; honored with gutted puppies
and rubbish rites.

Hekate in your oakleaf crown shaking reptile dreadlocks,
around you hellhounds yowling sharp and shrill,
the meadows tremble, rivernymphs scream,
their waters rush backwards up the streambed
and dive affrighted down their own fountains.

With the witches I dance around you,
naked, snake-necklaced,
hair in the wind, gashing blood from arms:
sex-crazed hags with false teeth and hair,
young girls gloriously pornographic,
stir the cauldron of ugly oddities,
throw in magic salads gathered in the graveyard,
– a brew with power to draw babes screaming
into existence, or hurl them howling hence.
The witches lay hold of you, Hekate, World-tree,
shake, make tremble on your branches
the planets suspended like rare and fragile fruit.

Goddess good in struggles, finder of ways,
Hekate Rescuer, Greatest, Best,
accept this black libation of inkshed,
bring this book to birth,
adopt it for your child,
rearise through its pages in the realm of men.

Open Source Religion

Open Source Religion

Yoism claims to be “the world’s first open source religion.”

Yoism was modeled on the successful development of open source software and specifically on the subsequent explosion of interest in Wikipedia, a system for collaborative development of a compendium of human knowledge.
In direct analogy to Wikipedia, Yoism was designed to be a collaborative collection/creation of a system of religious memes that best comports with the actual life experiences of people everywhere

Yoan Truth is derived from three sources.

First, there is the empirical data of collective human experience.

Second, reason and logic must be brought to bear on our experience to create our knowledge of how our experiences relate to one another and can be expected to relate to our future experience.

Third, a careful exploration of our deepest feelings, our fundamental values, and our most vital strivings is necessary for us to realize fully what aims (goals, meanings) to pursue. The Open Source Truth of the continuously evolving Book of Yo is Yoism’s collective understanding of how to utilize valid knowledge in the most effective pursuit of the deepest human aims.

Yoans build their communities on an open-source process of consensus, striving to express what the individuals in the community find to comport with their experience, with scientific data (i.e., the systematically collected and recorded experience of others), and with the aspirations of the members of the larger community.

Using this consensus on values, meanings (human desires and goals), and empirically validated facts (scientific, intersubjective truths), i.e., Yoism’s Open-Source Truth, Yoans claim to be striving to improve the world.

Long time no see, matey!”
